What can be done to maximize the benefits and overcome the drawbacks of covering news with mobile devices instead of traditional reporting tools?

There are a couple ways we can maximize the benefits of using mobile news. We can use it for breaking news. It can be published more quickly, to platforms that people regularly visit throughout the day. Additionally, making the news a little less formal on mobile can draw people that are consuming the news on mobile. Making stories with more graphics, videos, animation, and photos can better explain a story and draw in people that would normally be turned off by a long news story.

On the other hand, the drawbacks can be that people don't take mobile journalism as seriously. So by showing that it can work on the evening news as a spot or anyway and still maintain professional standards is crucial. Part of the challenge will be to prove that it is as technically good as traditional equipment, while proving it is easier to use. By making the mobile content as professional as traditional content, it will show that mobile content can be used in the same way.
